OCT Tian E Bao comprises of 5 luxury residential towers overlooking a tree fringed lake at the northern part of Overseas Chinese Town in Shenzhen. 

 

The towers are conceptualized as pristine glazed objects that rise over a natural undulating ground plane. Mature trees lining the water edge and lush landscaped gardens together with reflecting pools are taken into the residential lobbies at ground level to create a seamless composition of architecture and nature.

 

All residential units are oriented to maximize lake views. The floor-to-ceiling glass facades further blur the boundary between inside and out. 

 

The façades of the towers are a composition of glass planes and volumes, strongly accented by metal trims and fins. Solar gain is controlled by low-e glass, horizontal sun shades and vertical trellises on the east and west facing facades provide additional protection from the sun.
