Addressing singapore’s need to expand public housing, SCDA architects have designed Skyterrace@Dawson, which was completed in 2015. Serving a country whose population increased from 4 million to 5.2 million from 2000 to 2011, the project is located near metropolis’s downtown, in the area of dawson.

The complex is composed of five towers ranging from 40 to 43 stories, and sits atop a podium containing parking. the scheme emphasizes a seamless connection to greenery, through lush landscaping on the ground plane as well as elevated gardens spanning between the separate buildings. - Trent Fredrickson
